I`m alittle confused about who owns the rights to Robot Monster.Does it belong Wade Williams or is it public domain?I`m wanting to sell model kits of the Robot Monster.I need to find out who I need to talk to if you know.
I`m also trying to find out who owns the rights to comedian Andy Kaufman.I`m really good friends with Andy`s girlfriend & she doesn`t even know either. She sells products anyway depicting Andy`s likeness. She told me that she suspects that Andy`s parents do.She lost contact with them years ago.She said she didn`t know if they are even still alive but she did hear that they moved to Florida. Can anyone out there help me find out who owns these 2 properties?
Thanx

Robot Monster is owned by Medallion TV Enterprises. Latest contact details I have are:
Medallion TV Enterprises, INC
520 Haynes Ave
Beverly Hills, CA 90210
(310) 652-8100

Andy Kaufman died in California in 1984. Post mortem publicity rights are regulated by state law in the US. Depending on whether Andy was a resident California Domicile when he died, there may not be PM publicity rights as the California supreme court recently ruled the 1988 Act granting post mortem publicity was not retrospective. I'd suggest getting some legal advice.
